The Academy of Magical Arts is proud to present an experimental seminar aimed at Dracthyr, to help them acclimatise to life in Azeroth after their long years of stasis.
As we know, the Dracthyr were held in stasis on the Dragon Isles for some 20,000 years. After re-joining the civilised world at the behest of Wrathion, the vast majority have already committed themselves to combatting the ongoing Primal threat.
However, many Dracthyr remain displaced and uneasy; unable to find their place in this world and, understandably, finding it all quite overwhelming.
“We are lost,” commented one Dracthyr, who wished to remain anonymous,
“This world is new to us. We were not expecting to be in stasis for so long, and we are all very surprised to find the world in the state that it is.”
Asked to elaborate, the Dracthyr made comments on the development of the Alliance and the Horde, and the fact that the Dragon Aspects have been absent for some time. Naturally, the downfall of Deathwing (to them, Neltharion) is still also a very sore subject.
The Academy of Magical Arts has thus announced its intention to start a series of experimental seminars, covering topics which many Azerothians may find incredibly rudimentary, to help the Dracthyr come to terms with the world around them.

Lady Salyse Wintercrest, Chairwoman at the Academy, had this to say:
“We know precious little of these Dracthyr, only that we share a common enemy in the primal cultists and their vile schemes. Both the Horde and Alliance have vetted the Dracthyr and, with the personal assurance of the Black Prince himself, accepted these new individuals as they would comrades-in-arms.”
“But make no mistake: the Dracthyr need our help. They are already treated with persecution, with suspicion, and to top it all off, they know so little of Azeroth and how it operates. Any decent Academic organisation would rightly offer its services to help such individuals in need, and that is exactly what we are doing.”
The Academy is holding its first seminar on Saturday 26th November at 9pm RT, and will cover topics such as Azeroth’s political climate, recent historical developments, and advice on fitting in to life in the major cities. It is expected to last roughly one hour, with some time left at the end for questions and answers.
“We very much hope that this will go some ways to helping the Dracthyr integrate themselves into modern society, and give them a platform to ask any questions that may be on their mind” concludes Lady Wintercrest.
